What's causing #Nigeria's #ASUUchat strike? This has been pushed forward to the International scene on Aljazeera.
Nigeria’s
Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has been on strike since
July, bringing classes in 60 universities to a halt. This is just the
latest round – the country’s public universities have missed three and a
half years of academic sessions in the last 15 years.
Our
community in Nigeria asked us to cover this story, so join us on Friday
16GMT/5pm local to weigh in on what's behind the country’s current
university strike, how it's affecting students, and how it can be
resolved.
