Return Legs of SWEP2013 Football league begins............!

The return leg matches of the Unilorin SWEP Football league started yesterday as group C played an entertaining 2-2 draw with grp D. Interesting news had spread round the stadium following the signings of superstars Berbatov and Mojeed from grp D by grp c’s manager Kalex. On his big money move,Berbatov claimed it was a right decision to savour his football career.

Grp D wouldn’t have wished for a better start as they bagged an early goal through a finely excecuted finish from their striker roja from the edge of the box.They got the second goal of the game through their winger al-amin solo run before he blasted a shot into the bottom corner after grp C keeper failed to cover his near post. Berbatov was finally brought on in the second half threating his former team especially through the flanks. Their efforts finally paid dividends when Jerry knodded the ball out of goal from a corner but for a wrong call by the linesman,he adjudged the effort a goal.The goal sprung grp D back into life with some deft touches from  Berbatov mounting their attacks. Jerry then made it two for himself and the team with a sublime free kick into the top left corner 35 yards out.The match tensed up in the closing stages but none of the two teams could secure a winner.  Jerry was named man of the match
