Unilorin's Don ; on the fight against corruption


‘’When wealth is lost, nothing is lost, when health is lost, something is lost, when character is lost, all is lost.’’ Those were the words of SUG president of the better by far university, University of Ilorin during a seminar titled ‘’Anti-corruption and Code of Ethics’’ at the university’s auditorium set up by the varsity’s Anti-corruption & transparent monitoring unit(ACTM) in conjuction with the Independent Corrupt Pratices and other related offences Commission, ICPC.

During the seminar, the The VC Prof. Ambali highlighted how the parasite called corruption has infested the Nigerian society and the world at large .The ATCM was founded by his predecessor Prof. Oloyede to perform the duties of ICPC in the school except prosecution section. He said ‘’Education is nothing if it doesn’t reform character, in Unilorin, we take character over learning”.
