Unilorin FM begins live internet streaming

In line with the vision of the Vice-
Chancellor, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, to
continue to explore the internationalisation
drive of the University and position it
properly on the Information
Communication Technology (ICT) highway,
the Unilorin 89.3 FM Radio Station has
begun 24-hour internet radio streaming.
With the commencement of the online
streaming, listeners from all over the world
can now tune in to the better by far radio
station.
The streaming, which started at 12.00 noon
last Saturday (October 12, 2013), would
enable the University to constantly update
listeners across the globe with happenings
in and around the University.
Checks by Unilorin Bulletin revealed that
activities of the 29th Convocation
Ceremonies would be streamed live to
allow members of the general public from
across the world catch up on the
programmes.
Listeners will also have the opportunity to
participate in some of the live interactive
programmes on the radio station.
Prospective listeners can log on to
fm.unilorin.edu.ng to receive live
transmission 24 hours everyday of the week
or download the applications from the
Blackberry or android application stores.
