Delta Awards Contract For Second Int’l Airport

Delta State Government has awarded
contract for the building of a second
international airport at Osubi, near Warri.
Deputy Governor, Professor Amos Utuama,
announced this at the All Saints’ Cathedral
Church, Ughelli, during a thanksgiving
service for the victory of Senator Emmanuel
Aguariavwodo in the October 12 Delta Central
Senatorial by-election.
He said Warri, as the commercial
headquarters of the state, needed an
international airport.While noting that the
state government was committed to its
completion, he assured that Governor
Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration would
finish strong in 2015.
